This American bred gelding from the Shane Nicholls' stable ran a handy second last start and beat home Catatude in the process, who he squares off again here.

He is currently $9 which looks great value considering Catatude has come up $5.

With two placings on the syntho surface from three attempts, he clearly relishes these conditions.

Apprentice Kiran Quilty claims 3kg and has ridden this gelding at both starts this prep.

Look for Quilty to go back again from barrier 8 and attempt to get a tag into the race on straightening.

He can certainly get up here at a nice price and represents great each way value, given he'll be ready to fire third-up.

 

Ballarat Race 8 Tip #3 Taramansour $3.90

Former Irish galloper who just missed in a bob of the head finish, over this same track and distance when second-up in Australia.

He is in the astute Matt Cumani yard, so will be getting the right staying education and will be fitter for his two Australian starts.

Fred Kersley will partner him again and from the fence draw, looks certain to either box seat or lead.

He looks a good bet for mine at this current quote and you would expect his price to be wound in bit prior to the jump.

Expect the lightly raced 5YO to get the job done here and knock over his first Aussie win.
