The typhoon has left Hong Kong just in time for tonight's Happy Valley card.

There will be 8 races on the “B” course, which has the tendency to offer favours to horses with inside barrier draws.

Fine conditions are forecast and the track is expected to be in the Good range.

Joao Moreira and Karis Teetan return from suspensions for this meeting and will be looking to find form, with their full book of rides.

Zac Purton has only ridden two winners at the past two meetings, but can bounce back with 6 strong rides tonight.

Happy Valley Race 1 Tip #6 Fantastic Fabio $4.60

Fantastic Fabio has 5 wins to his name, which is great record compared to his rivals here.

The seven-year-old gelding has had 3 starts this season and has demonstrated consistent early speed on each occasion, despite the wide barriers.

Although he ran fourth two starts back at Happy Valley, he impressed over the 1200m.

He draws favourably in barrier 5 here and can lead them with ease.

Expect him to be very competitive at his current rating and can account for this weak field.

Happy Valley Race 8 Tip #9 Green Luck $4.20

Green Luck holds the course record at Happy Valley for the 1650m in 1.38.58, which came at his first start last season.

His biggest asset is his versatility, as he can lead and dictate or sit and produce a good run late.

He draws perfectly in barrier 5 for this clash, has a proven fresh record (4:2-0-1) and will be ridden by Joao Moreira.

He has the ability to win easily and by Street Cry, he could handle any rain affected going if the weather happened to turn ugly.
