Today's edition of free best bets heads to Goulburn, where punters have a strong 8 race card to dive into.
This looks a cracking betting card for a Monday and I'll be staking up in 4 races today.
The rail is out 3m from the 900m-400m and then true for the remainder of the circuit, with the track rated a Heavy 8.
Check out my two plays below and you can back the remainder of my tips via HOT Bet here.
Goulburn Race 3 # Scoffa $41.00/$8.00
This Bon Hoffa colt is the rank outside in the field of 10 and on paper, you'd understand why.
Trainer Geoffrey Crothers has a small stable of 7 gallopers, and has only trained 3 winners his past 50 runners.
Meanwhile jockey Kacie Adams has only ridden 3 winners her past 50 starts, which is a contributing factor to the big price we are currently seeing.
In what appears to be a David and Goliath battle, Cothers' colt will take on runners from the big city stables in Waterhouse/Bott, Maher/Eustace and John O'Shea.
That said, his two trials to date have been fantastic.
He showed nice early speed at his first effort over 800m, running second to 7 time winner Eve's Miss and beating home the talented Private Agent from the Kurt Goldman yard.
He then lined up in a strong trial at Goulburn, again over the 800m. From the middle draw, he showed good natural speed and ran under a tight hold the entire journey, finishing just off City winning gelding Julian Rock.
He looked to have plenty to offer that day, with Kacie Adams maintaining a vice like grip for the duration of trial.
Drawn perfectly in barrier 5 for this clash, I'm expecting Adams to mark this colt urgent, sending him straight to the front and proving awfully hard to run down. Looks a great 2x3 play.
Goulburn Race 5 #7 Left Reeling $3.50
This filly from the John Sargent stable was exceptional on debut, running home well to finish 3rd behind the promising Canberra trained Silk Tie.
She was set a task on that occasion, but made up good ground from last to finish within 0.63 lengths.
She was given a 14-week let up off that debut and returns to the races off one Randwick 1045m trial.
Talk about trialling well! This girl was ultra impressive from the back, getting the saloon passage along the rail before steaming home into second. She was well and truly past her rivals 100m past the post, with the gap widening the further she ran.
The form from that trial should stand up well in this race. The Anthony Cummings trained Chill ran third, and has since come out to perform well in the Listed Rosebud at Randwick on Saturday.
Although it is only trail form, this filly looked to be doing just as well if not better than Chill. If she can bring her A-game today, she should put these away with relative ease.
Chill has a bright future ahead as does this filly. I don't expect the $3.50 to hang around all day and I believe she'll start around the $2.50 mark.
