Port Macquarie Race 1 #3 Just Ziggy $3.40
This looks a genuine two horse race between our top pick and the Nathan Doyle trained Initiation.
Initiation has blinkers on for the first time, so she could improve significantly. However, the speed map is well against her today.
On the other hand, we know what we'll get with Just Ziggy.
The Denman gelding will jump from barrier 4 and put himself on-pace with ease.
He drops 2kg off his recent effort and with the soft run in transit, he's the one I want to be with.

The good thing of the day!
This well named son of Reliable Man by Betty Blockbuster looks set break his maiden status today.
His debut run when finishing 2.42 lengths 3rd was solid over 1200m, before marginally regressing at his second career start, running 3.07 lengths 4th over 1400m.
Stretching out to the 1500m is ideal for this clash and with the blinkers going on for the first time, I expect him to produce his best run to date.
From barrier 6, Lee Magorrian can sit one pair off them before peeling off the leader's heels and booting clear in the straight.
