Whilst in Melbourne, Tony McEvoy has sent one across from Adelaide and also booked a rider that adds interest.

Our Market Movers report has been in cracking form, yielding 25% Profit on Turnover over the last 90 days using top tote.

We're keen to keep the good form rolling, with each of the below selections exhibiting traits of sophisticated investment in early betting markets.

Merle The Pearl

The jockey booking of Damien Oliver says it all here, as his gun form man would have identified the ride.

She has won her past two starts in impressive style and looks very well placed to bring up the hat-trick in this.

Expect them to press forward from the outside draw in gate 12, to race midfield in the moving line.

Celestial Fury

Won well here on debut over the 1420m and was strong through the line on that occasion.

Now out to 1600m looks ideal, and he should relish the extra journey to again be one of the strongest late.

Froggy Newitt is a strong rider and can throw this one over the line.

Star Of Uma

McEvoy raider who has earnt the trip to Melbourne from their SA base.

She was good winning last start at Morphettville, when racing close to speed before cruising away with ease.

This is harder, however the booking of leading ride Mark Zahra screams she is primed to win.

Hopkins

Looks a genuine stayer and gets out to 2500m for the first time, where on a big track he looks suited.

He showed enough last start at Cranbourne when grinding home hard to place 3 of 11.

The stable are noted trainers of gun staying types and should have him prepared to the minute.

Banquo

Was one of the leading Melbourne 3YO’s last season and does bring a touch of quality to this field.

He loves racing second up (4:1-2-0) and at his first up run, it seemed as though he was not there to win ($10 out to $12).

This is likely to be the target race and there should be significant improvement at this stage of the preparation.

Hellenism

Is from the lethal betting yard of Aiden St Vincent who has engaged noted “money rider” Tim Clark for the steer.

This is a vicious move in betting ($4.60 into $2.80) and some very smart names have sent the pricing algorithms into overdrive early.

Expect them to sit tucked in just behind the speed, before darting through late.

No Compromise

Was very dominant here last start when charged from well back to collar them all.

He stays at Benchmark 78 level in a race that does appear to lack depth.

Waller and Berry are simply flying and although he will get well back in the field, expect he is again far too strong late.

Our Bellagio Miss

Berry is engaged again here and is a huge chance to chalk up another winner for the day aboard this mare.

She has last start Malkovich form, which looks strong after that horse came out and won in Melbourne last week.

Expect her to improve second-up with the edge off, and now out to a more suitable 1100m.

La Chevalee

Maher/Eustace runner who has been racing well all preparation, having never missed a placing.

She deserves a breakthrough here and does drop in grade back from a Benchmark 78 class to Benchmark 72 level.

Louise Day is an underrated rider and with her claim and talent, expect the horse receives every chance.

Wicklow

Waller import who has done everything right since coming to Australia, having won all three starts.

He does go up in grade here to Benchmark 78 level, in a race which clearly has more depth. However he deserves his chance.

Expect them to race midfield in the moving line, which looks the ideal striking position in this.
