We head to the Central West Region of NSW this afternoon, where Cowra hosts a competitive 7 race card.

The weather is fine and the track is rated a Good 4, with the rail situated in the true position. 

The tight turn before a short straight of 300m will advantage on-pace runners.

 

 

Cowra Race 5 Tip #10 Ayva's Reward $7.00

This mare by Reward For Effort was game in defeat last start and looks ideally suited dropping back to the 1200m today. 

She was jumping form 1000m to 1280m last start and showed good early toe to lead his rivals, before compounding over the last 100m.

She can find the front once again and looks well in against inferior opposition today.

From barrier 5, look for jockey Nick Heywood to make every post a winner out in front. 

We'll be producing the invisible whip late to get this girl home, but with a fitness edge on her nearest rivals, she should be too strong late.

 

Cowra Race 6 Tip #6 Miss Devinci $4.00

Looking to make it a race-to-race double for the Greg McFarlane stable here with this speedy mare. 

She was huge first-up over this track & distance, running third after a tough run in transit.

Her second-up effort was just as good, when running second over 1000m at Taree with Jeff Penza riding.

Apprentice Qin Yong jumps back onboard from her first-up run and claims a handy 1.5kg.

This girl has drawn perfectly in barrier 1, to either head straight to the front or sit on the leader's back throughout.

She only has to run up to her recent efforts to be competitive from this draw and with even luck, she'll return to the winner's circle today.
