21/9/19 Horse racing tips from early market moves

$100 pop heavily backed

We got off to a flyer last week, with our first three selections saluting at Flemington and an early winner at Rosehill.

The standout was Wayupinthesky who saluted paying a juicy $7.50 at the time of publication.

Punters who followed all of our eight selections across Melbourne and Sydney generated 103% profit on turnover.

This week has seen plenty of activity at Caulfield and Randwick, including an interesting move for one who has been crunched in from odds of $100.

As always, look for a further push in betting close to jump for extreme confidence.

Caulfield

Caulfield Tips

Heir To The Throne

Has always had ability and finally strikes a race which appears to lack depth.

He was good at Moonee Valley last start when he was wide and still kept coming to finish 6 of 15.

I love backing them following a tough wide run and given any luck this time out, he should be winning.

Pippie

Looks a potential superstar and has brained them all at her past three starts.

She has an enviable racing style, with an abundance of tactical speed, which means she can lead without much exertion.

Jumps to the front again here, where she can control it and kick for home to give nothing else a chance. Yes.

Begood Toya Mother

Is another front running star who should lead this field from the ideal draw in gate 3.

There is pressure elsewhere, however it would be a surprise if the rider didn’t hold the premier position.

Just needs a few cheap sectionals through the mid stages for there to be no hope of anything getting past him.

Done By Me

Is from the shrewd Phillip Stokes yard, who have an excellent strike rate when they back one.

This filly is third-up and gets to 1400m for the first time, which is key following the recent efforts where she has indicated it will suit.

Gets to midfield with cover and from there can get home hard over the top.

Randwick

Randwick Tips

Major Danger

Trialled well winning at Goulbourn in preparation for this and the fact the he's coming straight to town looks a good indicator.

The jockey mangers take great pride identifying the best Highway mounts for their clients. James McDonald’s man is the best in the business and would have done the solid groundwork here to secure this ride.

Rain affected is ok (1:1-0-0) and they look likely to find the front from gate 8. Plenty of ticks.

Junipal

Has always had the talent and is starting to show just that, with excellent performances recently including the Moonee Valley win two starts back.

This field has some depth and I suspect that the money has come due to his sound Heavy track form (2:1-1-0).

If the surface deteriorates significantly, he is the one.

Aspect Ratio

Is the long priced move of the day having opened at odds greater than $100 at some operators to now trade at $26.

John Sargent is a master trainer who would have this filly on an VRC Oaks program, however she has shown enough over shorter to suggest she'll be effective here.

Must have come on leaps and bounds since the Ming Dynasty placing and could surprise the leading hopes.

Star Of The Seas

Returns back to easier grade here following the 4 of 13 finish in the Group 2 Tramway.

He was far from disgraced last time out and did reel off some of the best sectionals mid-race.

Gets strong rider Brenton Avdulla aboard and does map well from a soft draw in gate 5. Yes.
