NSW metropolitan racing returns to Royal Randwick this Saturday, where punters have a cracking nine race Winter card to dive into!
Given the almighty downpour that hit Sydney earlier this week, the track will be well into the Heavy range once again.
Recent meetings at Randwick have seen on-speed runners favoured and with the rail out 8m on Saturday, expect that theme to continue.

Randwick Race 2 Tip #11 Northern Wilderose $11.00
This five-year-old mare looks well over the odds for this week’s TAB Highway.
I thought her first-up effort at Grafton was sensational. She was thrown into the deep end in that clash, racing against the likes of Snow Valley and Two Big Fari, who looks one of the main contenders for this year’s Kosciusko.
She drew 11 of 14 and was posted wide early, before sitting outside the leader and cruising through her gears.
Unfortunately she set-up a frantic tempo and was unable to go on with it, knocking up late to finish 2-lengths fifth.
That race was a Country Magic Class 6 race under set weight conditions, which is leaps and bounds above this Class 3 Highway event.
She's drawn well for Adam Hyeronimus this time round, who is an aggressive rider and will have her leading or parked outside the front runner.
She gets the luxury of going down half a kilogram and proved that she can handle a heavy track last preparation.
At the double figure quote, I’m happy to get involved. With queries around the top few in betting, I can see her starting in single figures come race time.

Randwick Race 8 Tip #4 Fulmina $3.50
We begin the new season at headquarters and I am very keen to be with the four-year-old Snitzel mare from the mark Newnham yard, who drops back in grade to a very winnable staying event.
She is the ideal Randwick wet track type, being lean, compact and athletic. She also has a proven ability to make long sustained runs, which further compliments her winning chances here.
She was sent out a well fancied favourite at her last outing, where she was disappointing on face value.
However, she was flushed wide throughout the race and exposed before the turn which denied her an opportunity to display her dynamic acceleration.
Two back she was a dominant winner over 1800m, when she showed a devastating turn of foot to score by 1.3 lengths and record the fastest last 600m sectional of the race.
The lightly raced mare comes here at her peak fitness, drops back to a moderate BM78 against her own sex and is well in at the weights with only 54kg after the claim for Tom Sherry.
Expect her to jump well from the favourable gate and sit off a solid tempo.
He'll be hard to hold out and looks set to give Tom Sherry his much deserved first metropolitan city winner.
