Free horse racing tips from Rick Morris

Rick's tips have delivered punters a Profit over the past 180 days!

Below is one of his best bets for Eagle Farm, however you can purchase his full selections for Saturday's racing here.

Eagle Farm Race 8 Tip #3 Mr Bellagio $2.70

He’s a 1400m specialist, has a great winning strike rate, drops in class and steps back up to his preferred trip here.

At his most recent run in the Listed Eyeliner Stakes, he was positioned near last and forced very wide on straightening which is not an easy task at the tight Ipswich circuit.

He got stuck into his work late in that hit-out, however dropping back in trip at that level was always going to be a big ask. Despite the challenges he faced that day, the gelding still managed to finish 1.4 lengths off the winner.

Two starts back at the Gold Coast, he made a mess of them when winning by 5 lengths.

Ryan Maloney takes the ride for this assignment, which gives us added confidence that he will get the right run in transit.

This Edmonds trained gelding ticks all the boxes and should be too strong for them.

Belmont Race 8 Tip #7 Cliffs of Comfort $2.80

Cliffs Of Comfort returns to the races here following a first prep that saw him go three-from-three, raising a lot of eyebrows in the process.

His 2 length defeat of Laverrod at just his second career start was very impressive, and all the form around him stacks up well with 5 horses from his maiden race having gone on to notch up a victory.

His lead up trial in preparation for this clash was good behind Free Trade, who is targeting Group 1 races in the spring.

Cliffs of Comfort likes it fast and out in front, so despite the wide draw I expect him to roll forward and run this at a good pace.

Expect him to return with a bang and keep the picket fence intact.

Moonee Valley Race 2 #5 Keep on Fighting $41.00 each-way

Keep on Fighting is worth something each way at big odds.

He was solid in a recent jump-out alongside some above average types, including Sweet Snitty and The Gauch.

Winning Superstar was also in that heat and has subsequently looked good winning another jump-out.

Barrier 1 is the dream for a runner on debut and I expect Daniel Stackhouse to use the draw to push forward and sit on the leaders back.

I suspect this galloper has some ability and with an economical run he can fight out the finish.

Belmont Race 8 Tip #10 Silkinize $2.85

This handy sprinter has had three solid efforts at Belmont this preparation, finishing in the placings at each outing.

Two starts ago he pulled fiercely when attempting to settle and he ended up travelling three wide throughout, before going down narrowly to two next start winners in Captain Kink and Puckapunyal.

The gelding then dropped back 200m at his latest, but was forced to restrain heavily after drawing the river. Once again, he had to travel wide before launching late in an impressive display to finish 0.4 lengths second.

He ran the fastest closing sectionals of that race and the only runner he couldn't reel in was the progressive Peters Investments galloper Long Beach.

This assignment looks like a perfect opportunity to return to the winner's circle, as he gets the services of William Pike and the barrier gods have been favourable.

Look for him to settle a few pairs closer and receive a more economical run behind a suitably solid tempo.

A race-fit Silkinize at his fourth run in ticks a lot of boxes here and he looks a major player.
