Punters versus Australian Racing Media in June

 AAP

The best performing punters in June was a tale of two sides. The Punters took all three of the top positions in the Cash Profit category, where we use absolute profit to order each punter's profits in the month. While in the Profit On Turnover (POT) category, where profits are ordered relative to the turnover used to obtain them, all three positions were taken-out by the Australian racing media, with two of those claimed by race callers from Sky Racing.

Highest Cash Profit Punters

Templategate12, a 38 year old bloke from country Victoria, made the most cash from his selections in June finding no less than 176 winners. He made $6,470 profit from $100 win bets on his selection. Not far behind him was FordCat17 with $5,950 profit and for the second month in-a-row DexFeminaFacti was the second runner-up with $5,190 profit.

Next in line, just outside of the place getters, was Melbourne form expert Deane Lester finding 20 winners for $3,140 profit.

Highest Profit On Turnover Punters

Sky Racing New South Wales country race caller Alan Hull took the top spot in this category for June. He's 15 selections across the two Wagga race meetings he called in the month produced no less than six winners and seven placings, leaving only two unplaced selections. His 40% strike rate delivered his followers a massive 99.3% profit on turnover, which means he doubled every $1 placed on his tips.

Close behind with 97% POT was Gold Coast Bulletin racing journalist and form expert Tom Boswell. Tom published 24 tips in the month finding nine winners at average odds of $5.26.

In third spot was Sky Racing caller Shane Yates who yielded 93% POT from his 16 selections published for the two Launceston meetings he called during the month.

Australia's top punters and racing media's best bets appear on one page every day in the Tip Market.
