Horse Racing tipsters of the week

It was a punting masterclass from the punters themselves this week.

Take out our resident form expert Ben Beare, and the punters took out the top 10 spots on the leaderboard for cash profit.

Beare demonstrated the value that comes from the tireless hours he puts into watching trial footage to get the jump on the bookies.

Racking-up 29% profit on turnover, the boy from Bendigo found 30 winners over the week paying an avereage of $8.56. Punters following the trial spy with $100 win bets profited to the tune of $5,867 using starting prices.

One of the best performers was long-time punter Danzak.

This Victorian has never been shy of going for a bit of value - a strategy that more than paid off this time.

That's because Danzak landed 120/1 roughie Palma Merenti at Kalgoorlie on Sunday.

Along with another 5 winning tips, Danzak clocked off with a mammoth $8K in cash profit from $100 win bets and a 104% POT.

Incredible numbers.

Also having a stellar week was pro punter Blaster.

Another Victorian, Blaster notched up a cash profit of $3,480 and a 105% POT this week.

But even more impressive than this is the manner in which he did it.

Blaster placed 33 tips, 17 of which got home at an unbelievable strike rate of 52%.

If you thought that was impressive, get a load of this.

Blaster is now sitting on an 11 day profit streak at all tracks.

Having notched up 21-consecutive profitable days back in May, Blaster is clearly in the mood for more.

Talk about consistency.

Another pro punter who has been tipping his socks off is Doctorevil.

Residing up north in the beautiful Whitsundays, Doctorevil delivered for all his followers after finding a 101% POT.

Punters who placed a $100 win bet on all of his 30 tips would've seen a return of $3,030 in cash profit.

And with a two-month profit streak, Doctorevil is well and truly earning his pro status.

The best performing media analyst of the week was Harry White from Best Bets.

Again and again the form analysts from Best Bets deliver the goods, and this was no exception with White.

Focusing on provincial and country racing, White steered his followers into no less than 21 winners over the past week.

At a solid average price of $3.64, this was no easy feat.

White's tips generated $1,650 in cash profit, putting smiles on the faces of all the Best Bets fans out there.

Harness and Greyhound tipsters of the week

Starting with the trotters and there was one punter who really stood out on the weekly leaderboard.

This was Sydneysider and pro punter Silvercharm, who secured a phenomenal 299% POT.

His cash profit wasn't too shabby either, at a fat $4,190.

Key to Silvercharm's success was the value he latched onto.

His 4 winners greeted the judge at a juicy average price just shy of the $14 mark.

And what Silvercharm's extended record tells us is that this was far from a fluke.

The trots punter is now sitting on a 5-week tipping streak at all tracks.

His harness racing tips are sure to be hot property in the coming days.

Onto the dish-lickers, and the star performer this time was race caller for RSN radio, James Van de Maat

Not only was this up-and-coming caller the best media performer of the week, but he's also been faring very well over an extended period.

Like Silvercharm's harness tips, Van de Maat is currently showing a 5-week profit streak at all tracks.

This week, his greyhound tips generated in excess of $2K in profit from $100 win bets.

This was thanks to his 50+ tips getting home at a sensational strike rate above the 50% mark.

What an effort.
