Stables and connections launch

This week’s edition of Market Movers again sees a number of strong betting moves at both Eagle Farm and Randwick.

The big stables and connections appear to have launched at a number of key runners, with the Waller and Godolphin yards rarely missing these days when they back one.

We struck twice with our selections last week and are looking to build punters' bankrolls again this week, as the Queensland winter carnival winds to an end.

Eagle Farm

Eagle Farm Tips

Outback Barbie

Is clearly the class runner in this field and punters have locked on in early betting, which suggests the drop in grade will be telling.

She gets the gun run from an ideal draw in gate 6, with Jeff Lloyd likely to position midfield with cover.

Look for her to peel at the right time and get home hard over the top. Yes.

Noble Boy

Is going through the grades nicely and has to be regarded as more than just a “highway/country championship” horse, following the win here in town last start.

He will get back from an inside draw as per his favoured pattern and just needs luck picking his way through to be winning this.

Rider Glen Boss continues his return and will be highly motivated to impress. Should simply win.

Accession

Ran an excellent second in the Sires Produce here last start over 1400m, the traditional lead up event, where he showed that the mile should suit.

Waller has made a habit of owning this race by targeting a number of his gun late maturing 2yo’s at a Winter campaign.

Will need a peach from Shinn to find some cover midfield, however it's hard to doubt the current form and ability of this leading hoop.

Expect Shinn to get the job done.

Tactical Advantage

Is first emergency, however likely to gain a start.

He ran a bold race in the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 at his latest, when finishing 6 of 13 and only 1.75 lengths off the winner.

He is one the pro punters could make a further move on late and he could start shorter.

Randwick

Randwick Tips

Lanigera

I love when there is a vicious gapping move in betting for a Godolphin runner and that is certainly the case here.

He must be showing the stable plenty at home and the word tends to get out quickly, with a large number of staff involved in their preparation.

The trial was soft, where he was not asked to do a thing and he looks set up to win first-up in this.

Should simply blow them all away.

Madame Pauline

Ran well in a Highway here last start to place second, when he had some support in betting late ($6 into $5.50).

The professional money is flowing again this start and suggests she can go one better.

Being from the high profile Arrowfield camp and trained by Paul Messara, I doubt they would bring one to town unless they are sure he is a genuine winning hope.

Will be trained to the minute and ready to win. Yes.

Ombudsman

Has form from last start behind the smart Wolfe, which looks a strong line.

He had excuses on that occasion when caught three wide with no cover and inconvenienced at the 100m mark.

Given any luck in running this time out, he can improve dramatically and that is what the professionals have likely locked into.

Will appear a different horse.

Call The Royal

Loves to lead and has raced well this prep to place second on each outing.

She will burn out to lead again here from a mid draw (barrier 7) and should have no trouble taking control.

The stable have been lethal of late when they attack one in betting, with Wolfe and Hush Writer two that come to mind in recent times.

Just needs to be left alone out in front through the mid stages of the race to be winning this with ease. Yes.

Sydney racing is at Royal Randwick on Saturday and every tipster who has selections there are on our Randwick tips page ranked by profit. Check it out before you bet.
