18/5/19 Rosehill tips and best bets for Saturday Racing

Best bets at Rosehill
Rosehill Gardens plays host to a nine-race card on Saturday, with the Listed Lord Mayor's Cup as the feature race on the program.
The track is rated a Good 4, with the rail in the true position the entire circuit.
With fine weather forecast for the remainder of the week, horses are set to race on a fair surface.
Rosehill Race 5 Tip #8 Transmitter $10.00
This classy filly from the James Cummings yard won three from four last preparation, with her only defeat coming against the talented Sylvia's Mother.
Off the back of a spell, she impressed in an 897m trial at Canterbury, where she ran through the line with plenty of zest.
She then followed that up with a strong 1050m trial, finishing behind stablemate Deprive.
With plenty of speed engaged in this race, you'd expect jockey Rachel King to ride conservatively from the wide draw.
Look for her to find a position beyond-midfield in the running line and then peel wide and sprint over the top of them late.
She looks to have come back in fine order and finds a very beatable field here.
With even luck, she'll prove very hard to beat.
Rosehill Race 7 Tip #13 Girl Tuesday $8.50
The Waller stable knew what they were doing last start, when this mare was well backed to win after coming off a string of eighth placings earlier in the year.
That victory came after a 33-day freshen-up and a nice trial win, and it appears as though she has recaptured the form that saw her win four straight to kick off her career.
There is little speed engaged in this race and from barrier 11 carrying the light-weight of 53kg, look for jockey Grant Buckley to take a more forward position in the run and settle in the first-four.
Connections have found a winnable race here and if she can reproduce her last start effort, she's right in this race.
Rosehill Race 8 Tip #6 Deprive $3.00
This gelding by Denman arrives first-up off a huge Randwick trial, where he sprouted wings late to defeat stable mate Transmitter.
Considering the following career stats, there is no doubt this Godolphin galloper is ready to win:
- 4 wins from 7 starts;
- 2 wins from 3 starts first-up; and
- 2 wins from 3 starts at the distance.
From the gun draw in barrier three, expect jockey Glen Schofield to smoke the pipe beyond mid-field, before peeling wide on turning for home and flashing over the top late.
