18/5/19 Horse Racing Tips & Best Bets: Deane Lester review

Racing guru Deane Lester has been in great touch lately, having notched up 17% POT over the past 30 days with average win odds of $4.02.  

Last Saturday, his staking plan got punters off to a flier at Caulfield, before falling away in the latter stages of the day.

Deane Lester's horse racing tips review 11 May 2019

Race 3: 1. Zoutori (10 units) and 3. Thunderdome (10 units)

Lester provided two tips in Race 3, and incredibly they filled out the first two placings with Zoutori proving too good for Thunderdome.

However, punters would've been hoping that the tables were turned. Thunderdome was the value runner, priced at $20 when Lester provided his tips.

 

Race 4: 5. Guizot (20 units)

Lester was confident with this favourite, reflected in his stake of 20 units.

This confidence paid off, with Guizot proving far too strong and getting the win.

 

Race 5: 4. Queen Annabel (10 units) and 10. Warragul (15 units)  

Both of these horses missed the placings, with roughie All About Nicci getting the chocolates.

 

Race 7: 11. Delusions (5 units) and 14. Trilli (5 units)

Lester wasn't confident at all with these selections, and this was borne out with both falling short.

 

Race 8: 8. Leonardo da Hinchi (35 units)  - Best Bet

Lester's best bet this week was the heavily supported Leonardo da Hinchi.

But this favourite flopped, and could only manage a disappointing 4th place.

 

Race 9: 5. Street Spun (15 units) and 1. Think Bleue (5 units)

Think Bleue managed 2nd place in what was a disappointing final race for Lester punters.

Street Spun finished stone motherless last.
