At Scone we are currently racing on a Good 4 with the rail out 3m from the 800m to the winning post and in the true position for the remainder.
With all the good weather around this week, i’m expecting a fair surface with all runners getting their chance.
We are on a Good 3 at Caulfield with the rail out 12m for the entire circuit. Expecting the on-pace runners to have an advantage and with the rail out so far, it will be hard for back-markers to make too much ground. Inside barriers will be a big plus.

Race 2 #2 Cradle Mountain
He's a beauty and lines up for this looking to make it five in-a-row after having only seven starts. His most recent win was an eye-catcher at Randwick on Anzac Day, where he booted clear to win easily by 3.3L. He’s the one to beat here. $1.80
Race 7 #10 Dyslexic
She’s ran well in all of her five starts so far and almost scored last time out at Randwick. She’s got every chance here with Avdulla retaining the ride from a similar gate. Watch for her flashing late and being fourth-up and hard fit, she could go right past them all. $4.80
Race 6 #3 Sun Quan
Went so close when first-up after he got run down by a hard fit one in William Thomas. He won second-up last prep, loves this distance and from a good draw with Daniel Moor aboard, he should run another bottler. $4.20
Race 8 #2 Furrion
Stamped himself as a good horse when winning with style at ’the Bool ’ last week. He won that race by 2.5L and his start before that by 4.75L. He’s looking to make it four-from-four on Saturday and from gate one, he will be very hard to beat. $2.30
