Market Movers in early markets at Rosehill & Flemington 5 March 2018

Smart money sniffed out for Saturday racing
Two winners last week but not enough to get our followers making a profit. We've kept our eye on Sydney and Melbourne metropolitan meetings for Saturday, identifying the early market movers and then applying our well tried approach to reveal the smart money amongst them.
Rosehill Market Movers
SEDITION
Has put in a solid preparation with second the worst result from his past four starts. Big positive being a front runner in a small field on a track that is expected to favour on-pacers, at least in the earlier races. In with a winning chance.
PRIMITIVO
Tough one to assess but has to go in. Key issue is her slow starts at each of her past three jumps. The key counter argument though was her Canberra Guineas run when she flew home to just miss the prize. Tye Angland to ride is another positive. If she gets cover in the run expect her to be right in the finish.
ECUADOR
Is the class stand-out horse in this field. Looks to be the lone front runner in the race which should allow Hyeronimus to dictate terms in front. Two solid runs this preparation indicate he is ready to go one better.
SERENE MISS
Won well during the Autumn Carnival in the Provincial Championships at Randwick after jumping from barrier 14 to then resign to the tail of the field, only to power home to victory. Meets some better opposition here but well in the contest.
BON AMIS
Has put in three solid runs this preparation without reward. Smart money has come hard for Bon Amis here and rightly so. Looks a standout in this contest. Go well.
Flemington Market Movers
MOANA JEWEL
Massive go for this filly. Even with the adjustments for scratchings, the betting move represents 10% of market value since odds were first posted on Wednesday.
Impressive run for home at her recent outing after a sluggish beginning carrying 59kg. Against the boys here but drops 5kg from that run. Jumped in front the race before. Genuine hope.
