Punters get the cash in April
April was one of the toughest month's on the punt for a long time. Faced with
a wet Sydney Autumn Carnival, unpredictable tracks and a relatively large contingent
of international runners, even the most astute punters were tested. Despite
these challenges, a significant number of punters at theGreatTipOff.com managed
to make substantial returns for themselves and the punters following their tips.
In April the three place getters for the two categories of Tipster of the Month
were all filled by punters. The nearest media tipster in the profit on turnover
category was John
Davis from the Daily Telegraph with 78% profit on turnover
from 48 selections, and in the cash profit category it was Deane
Lester making his followers a cool $5,190 from $100 win bets.
Top Tipsters using Cash Profit
The tipster who made the most cash for punters in April was a 38 year old bloke
from Melbourne who goes by HiHo1980.
The smart punter posted an average of 4 selections per day in April and found
22 winners at an average price of $10.62. Punters following each tip with $100
win bets made $9,870 extra cash from his work. April's effort caps off a 6 month
winning spree over which time he has returned an extra dollar to his followers
for every $4 invested.
The two runners-up weren't all that far behind. Kendo7
from up near Townsville delivered his followers $7,180 from $100 bets on his
selections and Rowdylegend
made another appearance in the top three on the back of his $7,060 profit.
Top Tipsters using Profit on Turnover
The profit on turnover category rewards punters who may not necessary tip as
frequently as others but are very accurate when they do. The highest profit
maker in this category for April was Sydney punter Scomars.
His 17 selections in the month produced 131% profit on turnover (POT). That
included four winners at an average price of $9.83.
Queensland punter DoctorEvil
was close behind with 120% POT from 20 selections with an average $14.63 price
from his winners. Second runner-up was Brisbane punter Llyod
who managed 89% POT from 20 selections including 6 winners with an average price
To highlight the depth of the punting talent at theGreatTipOff.com, with the
tough punting conditions considered, the combined effort of all tipsters in
April made a slight loss which is significantly less than what bookies reported
for the month. Those statistics underline the value punters receive from following
tipsters with proven results.
