03/04/21 Horse racing tips from early market movers
Price Attack
AAPTagged: Horse Racing Tips
Early prices have been attacked at both Caulfield and Rosehill this week, where high-quality cards will be run at each venue.
In Melbourne, an intriguing big price move ($67 into $26) has been seen for a known betting yard.
Whilst in Sydney, the Group 1 racing continues at Rosehill where punters have picked off a number of mis-priced runners in the support events.
As always, any further market push close to start time would add extreme confidence.
Caulfield Tips
Till It’s Over
Is from the big betting Paul Preusker yard who love to bet and know how to place one to perfection.
She was heavily backed last start to win her maiden at Donald, before just scraping in.
This is harder now in metro Handicap grade, however she must be going very well at home and you can expect her to be in the finish.
Vowmaster
Blew them all away at his first two Victorian starts and then went seeking Sydney riches, where not all went to plan.
Back to Melbourne now and against his own age-group can make all the difference.
Michael Walker also jumps back aboard and can resume his winning partnership with the horse.
Pretty Brazen
Ran well first up at Flemington last start to place 3 of 7 in Listed grade, when only 0.6 lengths off the winner.
She has Group 1 form from last preparation and this assignment looks well within her ability.
From gate 12 they can find a midfield moving line position, which could be the place to be at Caulfield on Saturday.
Shandy
Is working through the grades nicely and is being touted as a potential Group horse.
She had no luck last start at Sandown when she was held up, however still managed to win from a near impossible position.
Given a more charmed run here, expect her to simply win. Yes.
Rosehill Tips
Conrad
Deserves his chance in city grade after a dominant 3.7 length win in maiden company at Wyong last start, as a $1.45 favourite.
He appears to have good tactical speed and should have the ability to carve across from gate 12 to take a position.
If they don’t go warp speed, expect him to be there in the finish.
Cherry Tortoni
Has a touch of class and strikes a field that appears to lack depth here.
His run-on profile was not suited at Moonee Valley last start, when he was forced to come from a long way back on a track favouring leaders.
Given the Rosehill surface plays fair on Saturday, he should be the one unleashing hell on them late.
Krone
Queensland raider who has surprised a few of the Sydney brigade by winning her past two runs here, including the Group 1 Coolmore Classic.
From gate 2, Tim Clark should have the perfect suck run in behind before darting through late.
She is simply flying and could easily make it 3 from 3 wins at Group level south of the boarder.
Nudge
Finally finds a suitable race which appears to lack depth.
She should strip much fitter following the first up effort here, when she chased hard from a rearward position over 1350m.
Trust J Mac to plot the right course from gate 17, which may be a favourable draw if they are scouting wider at this late stage of the day.
