Caulfield Race 1 Tip #2 William Thomas $3.30

He's a beauty, winning three from six and placing on two occasions.

I have been waiting for the return of this 4yo gelding and he gets a very winnable race here.

The John Price trained gelding only needs to be near his best and the early market support suggests he'll go close.

He loves the track, with a win and a second to his name from two starts. He's also two from two first-up and you can expect him to be right in the mix here.

Caulfield Race 1 Tip #10 Mandela Effect $2.70

Has recorded eight wins and four seconds from fourteen starts and they don’t come more consistent than that.

Quite simply put, he never runs a bad race.

He’s won all three this time in and looks very hard to beat here fourth-up and rock hard fit.

There looks to be enough speed in front to ensure he'll be coming with a booming run over the final stages.

He's been hammered in betting since the market opened, backed from $3.50 into $2.50 and will be very hard to hold out.

Eagle Farm Race 5 Tip #5 Deep Sea $3.40

This gelding from the Mark Newnham stable dominated at his first career start, winning by 1.3-lengths.

He did plenty wrong in that run, over-racing in the first half of the trip before being sent four or five wide at the 600m mark. He then ambled up to them on turning for the straight, before putting his rivals away with ease.

The drop back to 1000m will suit and with the a faster early tempo engaged, it's unlikely he'll over-race this time around.

There is plenty of upside to the son of Deep Field and with natural progression, it wouldn't surprise to see him improve 2-3 lengths at his second start.

From the wide draw, you can expect him to sit near last with cover and fly over the top late.

He's a serious race horse and it'll pay to follow him wherever he goes.
