Wyong Race 2 Tip #6 So Yummy $2.80

This gelding by Kuroshio was formally trained in Victoria and has shown plenty of ability in his jump outs and trials to date.

He jumped well and led his two Sydney trials last month, which suggests he hasn't lost any of his speed following the move north.

In the most recent one at Randwick, he was given a cut with the whip which I generally view as a negative in a trial.

However, I liked the way he responded and he'll take great benefit from the 1045m hit-out.

Given his early toe, you'd expect Sam Clipperton to head straight to the front here.

If he can sneak a break on turning for home, he'll be very hard to run down over the short Wyong straight.

Wyong Race 3 Tip #1 Haunting Spirit $4.80

This son of Snitzel bumped into some handy types last start.

However, it looked as though the Soft surface was the main reason for his fail on that occasion and he may need it dry to produce his best.

The tongue tie goes on for the first-time, which suggests there may have also been some behavioural issues in that run.

Prior to that disappointment, he had his hoof on the till and was working up to a win.

He should be able to get away with a soft lead here and he'll take a stack of running down under the guidance of Adam Hyeronimus.

Wyong Race 1 Tip #1 Lashes $1.90

This filly from the Matt Smith stable impressed at her second career prep with two wins from four starts.

The first of those wins was against the promising Kylease, who went on to win three straight after running second to Lashes in a Warwick Farm maiden.

Following a dominant Hawkesbury win, she was sent to the paddock for a short freshen-up.

She then appeared in a recent Warwick Farm trial, where she was far too good for her rivals.

Drawn barrier five here, expect Blake Shinn to sit just off the nominated leader, Walk The Runway, and blow her rivals away in the straight.

She is absolutely flying and looks to have a clear class edge on her rivals.

She's short but should be winning with ease.
