Smart money pours in for fancied runners
Just a nose away from delivering another profit to punters with our Early Market Movers report last Saturday. The team has gone through all the market movers for Day 2 of the Championships at Randwick and for Caulfield on Saturday.

DARK DREAM
Looks a good prospect at odds. His form second behind Prometheus at 1400m last preparation is good. Came home nicely first-up in heavy going. Is 1-2-0 for three starts at this distance while some of his rivals are yet to prove themselves beyond 1200m.
GONGS
Improved sharply second-up when she had to make up ground against the tempo finishing less than half-a-length behind Pure Elation. Should position well from the barrier and presents as a good chance at odds.
PURE ELATION
Impressive win last start to win her maiden race. Before that was half a length away from Estijaab when strong through the line over 1200m. Should position well from barrier 3 and Walker to ride makes her a solid proposition.
BOOKER
Going well this preparation. Won well first-up and then didn't lose any fans when 0.4L fourth behind Russian Revolution over 1100m in the Oakleigh Plate. Was good enough down the Flemington straight last time behind Redkirk Warrior. Won a recent trial.
HOUTZEN
Back to her best at Randwick last start when showing a lot of character to finish the race strongly and win. Well drawn to lead here. If she can travel okay in transit, conditions look perfect for her to hang-on and claim the honours.
HIYAAM
Massive flow of money for this filly from the minute the market opened. VRC Oaks place getter who proved she can stay that day. Has come back nicely this preparation, winning her recent outing in style over 2000m in the G1 Vinery Stud. Expect her to go to the front and race on the speed which I suspect will be true at best. Hard to beat.
SILENT SEDITION
Punters have gone after her since markets opened on Wednesday slashing her price by almost half. A lot to like about all three of her runs this campaign including a solid finish in the Coolmore to miss by a head. Expecting a bit of pace on here which will suit. Top contender.
Caulfield Early Market Mover Specials
STAR FALL
Untried two-year-old. Ran a close second in a recent trial at Cranbourne. Historically strong market moves in these types of races often go well.
TIAMO GRACE
A lot to like about her recent effort at the mile when sold through the line to finish fourth 4.6L away in a very strong form race. Will handle the extra trip and expect further improvement which should see her in the fight.
HAN XIN
Impressive win at his last start blitzing the field over 2000m. Was good at his two runs before that too. Looks like he will stay the journey.
GOEGAN'S HERO
Working up nicely to this distance with strong efforts at 2000m at her two recent outings. Expect her to be rock hard fit and ready for 2400m now.
BRAHMOS
The money has come for this John Sadler trained gelding with his $18 openers crunched by almost half. Form lines from his recent win over Bob Of The Head align nicely to the favourite Handsome Thief. Reckon barrier one for the favourite could pose some challenges with the speed maps at Caulfield which brings this bloke right into contention. Big hope.
