Bathurst Race 4 #5 Soho Almasi $3.30
I think Soho Almasi (5) is being underrated here.
The filly should have enough speed to find the lead in the early stages of this clash, with the most obvious danger being on her back in Anntonia (1).
There is nothing between these two horses, however I’d rather be on the leader and there’s no one better front-running driver than Luke McCarthy.
Bathurst Race 9 #5 Skyfall Benchmark $2.35
Skyfall Benchmark (5) looks hard to catch here.
This two-year-old has brilliant gate speed and shouldn’t have much trouble in finding the lead.
Despite the fact he's yet to taste victory in his career to date, the colt has been impressive and matched it with the favourite for this series in a heat.
Looks a good thing.
