Sandown Hillside plays host to yet another strong twilight card on Wednesday, where there's plenty of value on offer for punters amongst big fields.
The track is currently rated a Good 4 and with no rain predicted, you can expect a fine racing surface.
The rail is out 12m the entire circuit, which will make it difficult for backmarkers to win. With this in mind, I'm focusing on horses who settle in the top half of the field.

Sandown Hillside Race 1 Tip #10 Kansino $3.80
This Maher & Eustace trained filly comes here second-up, following a very promising showing on her debut. She settled midfield on that occasion and ran the best sectionals of the race, including a very strong last 100m between horses.
She comes here fitter and with race experience now under her belt, whilst the extra distance up to 1500m looks suitable. John Allen hops aboard which is a positive move, and from barrier six I expect him to position this filly just behind the speed.
The main danger in the race looks to be Fort Wayne, however he'll likely settle towards the rear from barrier ten and give Kansino a few lengths in the run.
With the rail out 12m, Kansino will have a good head start on her nearest rivals and should be able to hold on late.
I had Kansino marked shorter than the current quote, so she looks like a good betting proposition in the opening race of the day.
Sandown Hillside Race 6 Tip #3 Charleise $6.50
Another selection featuring the trainer/jockey combination of Maher & Eustace and John Allen.
She comes here first-up off a spell, with one official trial over 800m in readiness for this run.
In that hit-out she settled on-speed and was strong through the line under a good hold, before running second to subsequent winner Jenni Sox Rox.
She is a proven first-up performer, with a win and placing from two attempts. This includes a debut third, where she finished 3-lengths behind Godolphin star Microphone at Flemington over 1100m.
We have to trust connections that the 1300m is a suitable first-up assignment. The fact that she stretched out to 1400m last prep indicates she'll handle the trip and she has the class to come out on top here.
She is well-weighted with the 59.5kgs and from barrier 5, look for her to settle outside the leader. From there she'll be in a perfect position to go on with it, especially with the rail out so far.
At the $6.50 quote, she is great value.
