With the Autumn Carnival in full swing now, punters and media experts have upped their game.

Both groups recorded good profits over the past week, while a handful are in the middle of a cracking tipping streak.

 

Right at the top of the pile with a bumper $4,600 in cash profit from $100 win bets was pro punter Simples.

This Perth local tipped up a storm this week, after landing 10 winners at a fat average price of $12.83.

His highlight selection was Sonar Strike, that saluted at 80/1 odds at Hobart last Wednesday.

The next punter to earn a shout out is VacantLot.

This Sapphire Coast resident is fresh off being named as one of the tipsters of the month in February.

He's clearly carried this form over into March, after bagging $3,240 in profit from $100 win bets over the past seven days.

This came at a monster 125% POT.

Like with Simples, value was the order of the day for VacantLot, whose average winner price was a very tidy $11.68.

He's on track for a second consecutive mention as a tipster of the month.

 

Next up is pro punter Methoman, who raked in $2,220 in cash profit.

This Sydneysider cleaned up at Flemington on Saturday.

He got a hold of two of the day's roughest winners: Paint The Town Two and Sangria.

But this isn't his most impressive tip stat.

That's because this pro has now recorded a profit in each of the past 4 months.

Onto the media experts now, and the Herald Sun's Michael Manley had a week to remember.

This horse racing journo saw an impressive 35% strike rate from his 48 tips.

This generated just shy of $2K in profit for everyone who followed Manley's tips with $100 bets.
