We head to the Riverina on Tuesday, for a tricky seven-race card at Wagga.

The rail is in the 6m position from the 1400m to the winning post and true the remainder.

The sun has been out about after some rain last week, which means we could see an upgrade to a Good track come Tuesday.

Wagga Race 2 Tip #5 Designer Dance

Goulburn sisters Emma and Lucy Longmire saddle up the lightly raced five-year-old mare Designer Dance for this hit-out.

She's caught the eye quite a few times this prep, but has continued to find one or two better. However, this race looks like the ideal opportunity to bring up win number two.

The mare is a back-marker and race tempo has always been her biggest challenge over the short distances.

She's struggled to keep up with her rivals over 1200m when the speed is on, and she's found it difficult to make up ground from the back in slowly run races.

Now that she's out to the 1400m for the first-time in a race with decent speed engaged, she looks perfectly placed.

The winkers stay on to help keep her mind on the job and gun jockey Blaike Mcdougall is aboard to weave his magic late.

Wagga Race 4 Tip #3 Cardinet

The Mitch Beer trained mare Cardinet drops significantly in grade for this assignment and looks set to return to her winning ways.

Forget about the last effort at Albury, when she went straight to the front and faded late. That's not her racing style and you can expect her to right her wrongs from that race here.

Blinkers on first time to should help her spark up and take the gaps when they appear.

Jumping from barrier six should see her find a spot right behind a hot-speed and with Ellen Hennessy claiming 3kgs, I expect her to sprint well.

If the big striding I Am Invincible mare can find clear running, she will be flying late and should be too good for her rivals.
