Randwick Race 3 Tip #10 Shraaoh $3.60
This former UK galloper impressed with a win at his first Australian start, on a heavy surface over the 2800m at Flemington last Spring.
He then returned to the track first-up off a 109-day spell and made up nice ground, but was never in the hunt.
That run was followed up with a huge second in the Listed Randwick City Stakes, when he made significant ground off a slow tempo to fall 0.2 length short of Hiyaam.
He comes here third-up and has drawn an inside barrier, which shouldn't pose an issue this early in the meeting.
You can expect Kerrin McEvoy to ride positively to sit just beyond-midfield, in what is likely to be a well strung out field.
His closing sectionals and record beyond 2000m suggest that the step up to 2400m is a huge plus.
With even luck, he'll be winning this and moving on to bigger targets throughout the Autumn Carnival.

Canberra Race 1 Tip #1 Love Me Broke $2.05
This three-year-old colt is from the Kurt Goldman yard and makes his debut here at Canberra.
The chestnut first stepped out in a trial at Warwick Farm in May last year, where he jumped well to take a forward position before being ridden late to find the line.
There have been six subsequent winners from that trial, including Dio D’oro and Fun Fact who have both been first past the post on three occasions.
Off the back of that trial, Love Me Broke was immediately spelled.
He then returned to the trials at Rosehill, where he displayed his natural early speed to stick on well against quality opposition, including star colt Brutal.
He finds an easy kill to start off his career here and if he can bring his trial form into this race, he'll be winning.
Avoca Race 2 Tip #9 Locktoba Honey $17
This galloper by Oamaru Force caught my eye in a recent jump out, where she was sent around with some proven winners including Celtic Blast and Maxey Campo. Both of these runners have notched up multiple victories.
The most impressive aspect of the jump out was the filly's efforts through the line.
She's lined-up for her first career start here and the relatively unknown trainer/jockey combination may lead to the bookies offering some big odds each way.
From the good draw in barrier two, she'll get every chance to produce the goods

Rosehill Race 1 Tip #2 Resin $3.80
I think ‘team blue’ can get the day off to a winning start here with this four-year-old mare.
She was very good first-up, finishing 0.3 lengths third to the smart Winter Bride at Randwick.
The mare is two from two when second-up and has won three from four over the trip.
She loves Rosehill and with James McDonald staying aboard and the sting out of the track, expect her to be fighting out the finish.
Mornington Race 2 Tip #3 Star Fall $3.80
This Maher/Eustace trained colt is a nice type.
He won his first three runs last prep and has a two from two record over the trip.
Expect him to shoot out and be up on-speed where he'll be perfectly positioned.
The 3kg claim looks like a huge bonus and you can be expecting him to fight the finish out.
