I'm keen on the 3YO from the Godolphin team and he won’t get a better chance to break his maiden.
The chestnut son of Kermadec hasn’t done much wrong in his short career, with a poor race pattern in large fields bringing him undone.
On debut over the 1100m, he got too far back before rattling home from the rear to finish second in what was an eye catching effort from the rear.
He was sent to Kembla over 1300m for his next start where he was forced to make a long sustained run from the field. He then peaked on his run late, in what was an acceptable effort to finish 3rd.
He has since been sent to the trials to keep his fitness levels up to scratch and finds a very suitable maiden here.
From the middle gate, expect him to land midfield and prove awfully hard to hold out late over the 1100m.

I liked a few trials from horses lining up in this race, but ended up siding with this filly.
She showed improvement from her first trial into the second after she was able to position closer to the speed.
She also ran over further distance than those she meets in this debut clash,. and her opposition in that most recent trial made the decision easier.
She was matching motors late with Four Moves Ahead, who was an impressive winner on debut. Meanwhile the third placed horse, Glistening, ran a decent 2nd on his first career start.
