Punters face a 10-race card at Sha Tin this Sunday, with a mix of surfaces being used throughout the day. There are 3 races on the all-weather track and the remaining 7 come on the turf “A+3” track.

The weather will be fine for this big meeting with the turf track to be rated Good. There are 3 feature races scheduled, including the Group 1 Queen’s Silver Jubilee Cup, the Group One Hong Kong Gold Cup and the Hong Kong Classic Cup which is the second leg of 4YO Series.

The Hong Kong Gold Cup produces a mouth-watering clash between Golden Sixty vs Exultant. Golden Sixty is unbeaten this season while Exultant has finished second at his four starts this season.

In the Queen’s Silver Jubilee Cup, Waikuku is ready to bounce back and will compete with stablemate Champion’s Way, who is a consistent performer over this distance.

There are several ex-Australian gallopers lining up in the Hong Kong Classic Cup, they include Conqueror, Lucky Express (ex. Prince Of Sussex) and Tourbillon Diamond (ex. Eric The Eel).

Sha Tin Race 6 Tip #1 California Concord $13.00

California Concord scored his first Hong Kong win last season over today's track and distance and has since built a strong record at this set-up 6:2-0-1.

His victory in September was very impressive, throughout the whole race, this horse travelled wide without cover, but he still managed a win, defeating Czarson and Silver Fig.

He then progressed to Class 2 grade, but has failed to perform against his stronger rivals the past 3 starts which has seen his rating drop.

He drops down to Class 3 once again and can be more competitive in this grade despite carrying the top weight.

Vincent Ho takes the ride from barrier 8 which should allow him to find cover and finish off well. He is my best longshot of the day!

Sha Tin Race 10 #4 Flagship Glory $3.30

Flagship Glory is the first son of Australia to have a racing career in Hong Kong and he is settling quite well.

Last time out he made his Hong Kong debut over this course and distance, with an eye-catching performance.

Jumping from barrier 13, he was caught wide without cover, but still managed to finish third behind Sea Of Life and Prime Minister.

He's been showing plenty at morning trackwork, galloping well and reaching peak fitness.

Joao Moreira retains the ride and from barrier 9 he'll find cover in the big field and with even luck in the run, will be winning today!
