The Good Oil for Tasmanian Oaks Day

Launceston plays host to an exciting nine-race twilight program on today, headlined by the $150,000 Listed Tasmanian Oaks.
The track is rated a Good 4 with clear weather forecast throughout the meeting.
The rail is out 1m from the 1200m mark to the winning post, and true the remainder of the circuit.
At this setup, I’m expecting the track to play fair but punters should watch the first few races to be sure.
Best bets from Jacob Beavis
Launceston Race 3 Tip #4 Endured $3.20
This Leanne Gaffney trained four-year-old mare is attempting to win consecutive races in this class.
Last start, she led all the way to score a comfortable 2.5-length win over 1400m at this track.
The step up to 1600m is a minor query, but I have no doubt she will run a good race given her consistent form this preparation, and she loves this track (7-1:3:1).
From barrier 9, I’m predicting jockey Bulent Muhcu will settle her on-pace, giving her every possible chance to claim back to back wins.
Launceston Race 8 Tip #1 Easy Road $1.80
I expect the Adam Trinder trained four-year-old gelding to prove too good for his rivals in the Magic Millions three and four-year-old Classic over 1400m.
He bounced back to form with a soft 1-length win last start in a benchmark 84, over this track and distance.
He takes on another small field here and is by far the highest-rated horse in the race. He's had two wins from three starts over the 1400m and should improve on that today.
From barrier 6, watch for jockey Brendon McCoull to settle him midfield before pushing the button on the turn for home.
