Flemington Race 8 Tip #9 Katalin $2.70
This filly from the all-conquering Godolphin stable heads south for this assignment and will be looking to make it three wins from as many starts.
Her debut win was strong and those form-lines have been well and truly franked, with multiple winners coming from that race.
She then went to Newcastle and produced some serious sectionals in a dominant performance over the 1400m.
There looks to be plenty of speed engaged here and from barrier 10, she'll settle at the rear of the field and will be saved for one run at them.
The spacious Flemington track suits her racing pattern and punters can expect this filly to stamp herself as a star on the rise!

Flemington Race 5 Tip #1 Catalyst $3.00
This guy is a serious racehorse.
He looked plain at his first race start, but once the blinkers went on he turned into a machine.
Some of the wins he has produced have been arrogant, having been eased down on the line in Group company.
I love the way he has gone about it considering the troubles he has experienced in some of his races. There have been times when he has been held up and he's demonstrated an ability to produce a devastating sprint to get himself out of trouble.
To my eye, he looks every bit up to the level of fellow Kiwi raider Te Akau Shark who ran third in last year's Cox Plate.
This may not be his best distance, but I like how he has drawn the outside. James McDonald can stalk the leaders in the small field before unleashing him to fly down the outside.

Attorney looked very good in his recent trial, where he finished off in excellent fashion over 1200m.

Eagle Farm Race 3 Tip #8 Usmanov $2.80
I’m sticking with Usmanov again, given he was caught too wide and rearward last run.
The rail was out 6 metres on that occasion, which made it a bigger task to circle the field and run them down.
Pizonie, who finished a length in front of him in that run, won well over this same course last Saturday which goes to show that last start effort was full of merit.
With the 1.5kg claim, Ussy looks well weighted carrying 53 kgs here. If he gets even luck in the run, he'll be back in the winner's circle.
