Below are my top tips for Saturday racing, however if you'd like to see all of my selections you can access them here

Caulfield Race 5 Tip #1 Zousain $2.05

Zousain is a high-class colt from the Waller yard, who has been competing in group races since his second career start.

At his last outing in the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes, he finished a gallant second to high class filly Sunlight.

Sunlight resumed last week in the Black Caviar Lightning against some of the older and best sprinters in the land (Osborne Bulls, In her time) and was beaten less than half a length.

The Coolmore form has continued to be franked with the sixth placed Long Leaf in that race, crossing the Tasman late last month to win the Karaka 3yo Classic.

I'm banking on the two nice trials under Zousain's belt as well as the class edge he has over this field.

Caulfield Race 6 Tip #11 Alizee $2.40

Another shorty, but I can't get the last start win out of my head, which was simply arrogant.

She made high class gallopers including Le Remain, Trapeze Artist and Hartnell look second rate.

Furthermore, I believe that run was short of her best distance, with the extra 200m here a positive given her high cruising speed.

I tend to be very cautious when betting on Hugh Bowman while Winx is in work, but I think we can make an exception here.

She is drawn out wide, which will allow Bowman to find a nice spot out of trouble towards the rear of the field.

He'll then be well positioned to peel the mare into clear air as she enters the Caulfield straight, before unleashing a powerful sprint.

Below are my best early plays for Rosehill and Caulfield. If you would like to see all of my selections for Saturday's racing, you can access them here

Caulfield Race 7 Tip #8 Vinicunca  $13.00

I have been very impressed by this Waterhouse/Bott trained runner and she looks the smoky here.

She was super tough first-up and fought all the way to the line.

The filly drops 1kg from that run and draws better, which adds confidence.

She can find the front easy and if she repeats that big first-up effort, she may prove too hard to catch.

Rosehill Gardens  Race 6 Tip #2 Ragged Rascal $34.00 each-way

This 3yo colt won really well first-up last prep at any old odds.

He now finds himself in a similar position, with the bookies listing him at $34.

The Paul Perry trained colt is one from one over the trip and will be happy to settle towards the back of the field from the wide draw.

If there's any hint of a run-on bias, he can definitely shock a few here by charging home down the outside in the shadows of the posts.

Rosehill Race 3 Tip #9 Star of the Seas $6.50

A three-quarter brother to the talented Spieth, this gelding looks to have improved off a spell.

At his last start, he ran the fastest last 200m of the day over the unsuitable 1000m journey.

Trainer Chris Waller steps him up to a the more suitable 1350m on his home track, with early money suggesting he's primed for this assignment.

Drawn perfectly in barrier seven of 14 runners, expect jockey Kerrin McEvoy to sit mid-field with cover before unleashing this gelding's strong sprint to fly over the top late.

If you missed the $9 earlier in the week, the $6.50 quote is still overs for this galloper.
