3/12/20 Horse Racing Tips for Kyneton

Victorian racing heads to Kyneton on Thursday, with an eight-race card attracting some talented gallopers including a very well backed first starter.

The track is currently a Soft 5, but the weather forecast for the country town looks clear.

The rail is in the true position for the entire circuit and at recent meetings at this track, horses that have been racing out wide in the moving line when entering the straight have held an advantage.

Kyneton Race 1 Tip #4 Maximum Velocity $5.60

Maximum Velocity looked good in a jump-out recently, matching it with promising gallopers Lindhout and Jimenez  despite not being asked for an effort.

He then put in an encouraging performance in another Cranbourne jump-out, when he went with Lord Bouzeron and comfortably finished ahead of Redwood Rising.

From the inside draw here, look for him to go forward and take a stack of catching.

Expect him to kick off his racing career in fine style!

 

Kyneton Race 2 Tip #12 Taylor's Dream $2.95

This filly has been very disappointing this preparation, and was beaten as a short favourite last start in what was her third career outing.

However, she was far from disgraced and will have a fitness edge on most of these first starters.

The blinkers go on for the first time here and from the wide draw, expect her to shoot to the front and do it from both ends.

Looks a good thing.
