Kensington Race 4 Tip #10 Skymist $4.40

This filly by Lonhro impressed in two Randwick trials, before being tipped out for a 28 week spell.

She has since returned in fine style, winning two trials away from home at Hawkesbury and Rosehill.

The Waterhouse & Bott galloper showed natural speed in each of those hit-outs and demonstrated an impressive ability to extend well once given more reign.

Those traits suggest that she has the making of a quality race horse and you can expect her to be right in the firing line here.

Drawn barrier two, expect Nash Rawiller to hold a forward position in the run and prove too classy late.

Caulfield Race 5 Tip #3 Jealice $5.00

This filly from the Archie Alexander yard always trialled like she would appreciate it over a mile and after three runs this prep, she finally gets that trip here.

Her form this preparation has been strong. Her first-up run resulted in a third-placing behind Private Council, who was a subsequent mid-week winner.

Her second-up run was a narrow second behind Our August Rose, who looks a progressive filly. The gap to third on that day was 2.25 lengths, which indicates the top two were far superior.

She then broke her maiden in nice style last start at Warrnambool, winning by 2.25 lengths.

She's perfectly suited fourth-up, will relish the step up to 1600m and I expect her to be storming home late.
