This gelding has returned from a spell in good order and off the back of two luckless runs, ticks plenty of boxes here.
His first-up run was impressive, when only finding clean air late to run on strongly. He then suffered a similar fate at his second-up run.
Both runs were at the tight turning Canterbury track and he now gets to the more spacious Rosehill, where he has had a win and two placings from three starts over 1500m.
Stepping up to the 1500m here and jumping from barrier two, he'll be ridden more forward in a race that lacks speed. Look for him to sit on the leader's heels and be well withing striking distance on turning for home.
Josh Parr stays on board after two rides this prep, suggesting the horse still has plenty to offer.
At the good odds, he looks a great each-way bet.

This two-year-old caught my eye when he stepped out in his first trial.
The winner Belieber romped home by 2.3 lengths, but this colt levelled up to him after the winning post.
He was then given plenty of time to mature, before stepping out in a recent trial where he finished a close second to Strike. That horse is currently the equal third favourite for the two-year-old Magic Millions.
James McDonald piloted Blondeau in both trials and the fact that he retains the ride here looks a good hint that he has talent.
