Warwick Farm Tips: best bets & previews 22 December 2018

Best plays at The Farm
Steve HartWarwick Farm hosts Sydney racing this weekend in a rare Saturday card for the venue.
There are a number of wide-open betting affairs on the day and this will present punters with plenty of opportunity to capitalize.
Watch the market late inside the last 30 seconds of betting for strong leads and bet accordingly.
Race 6 Tab Rewards (BM 78) 1400m
The Art Of The Bar (8) should find the front here and with only moderate pressure expected, should get away with some cheap sectionals.
She has won here in her past three, including the last start win over 1200m. She only has to handle the step-up in distance to 1400m to be winning.
Others that can race close-to-speed and hold an advantage are So Magic (5) and Stock Up (10), with the latter backed off the map to win last start at Gosford.
This is harder, however she must be going well to warrant the good SP profile and could surprise at odds.
Best of the rest is Velocita (4), who could be ridden closer and will be in a ideal striking positon throughout.
Best Racing Tips
1st The Art Of The Bar
2nd So Magic
3rd Stock Up
4th Velocita
Race 7 December Handicap 3yo and Up 1400m
Sir Plush (5) maps beautifully here and could start shorter considering the pro punters will be interested with the favorable running positon.
He should find the premier position one out one back behind Catesby (12) and Test The World (10), who will take up the running.
Catesby (12) is in great form and has placed at all three runs this campaign, where at latest he finished a close-up second to Mapmaker over 1300m at Rosehill.
Pecans (1) is the one that will be running home hard over the top from midfield if the pressure goes on up front.
Best Racing Tips
1st Sir Plush
2nd Catesby
3rd Test The World
4th Pecans
Race 8 Tab (BM 72) 1300m
Lilith (10) has come up huge odds here at $19 for a mare that has Group form and was touted as a genuine Golden Slipper hope early in her career.
She is likely to race on-speed from the good gate (barrier 1) and carries no weight. Expect her to firm late.
Kapajack (5) and Gongs (8) will both cruise across from wider draws and if they can find cover midfield, will be running home late to be in the finish.
Of the others, Pembroke Castle (9) brings good midweek form with a stylish win last start at Canterbury over 1250m and you can expect him to be ridden closer to speed than most Speed Maps indicate.
Best Racing Tips
1st Lilith
2nd Kapajack
3rd Gongs
4th Pembroke Castle
Race 9 ATC (BM 88) 1200m
Bon Amis (1) is racing in great form and has won his past two in town. Although he goes up in weight to 60kg, there is no reason he can't make it three in-a-row here with any luck in running.
The speed will come from Easy Eddie (3) who will attempt to carve across from a wide draw (gate 11) to find the rail.
Others who can hunt up along the inside are Samadoubt (12) and Nictock (15), who should both settle in the first three.
There looks to be good pressure up front and this will set up nicely for Shubert (13) and Bel Sonic (11), who will be suited by the speed and can run home over the top.
Best Racing Tips
1st Bel Sonic
2nd Shubert
3rd Bon Amis
4th Easy Eddie
