Free tips for Saturday Racing

Tracks

This is the last of six weeks of Saturday racing at Rosehill before we return to Randwick for Villiers day.  Whilst in Melbourne, we head to Pakenham for their Cup day.

Rosehill is currently rated a Good 4 with the rail out 6m while Pakenham is a Soft 5. With warm weather forecast in Melbourne however, expect the provincial track to improve into the Good range.

Free racing tips from expert Matt Buckland

Below are Matt's best early tips for Randwick and Flemington. If you'd like all of Matt's selections for this Saturday, you can get them on Matt's tips page.

Rosehill Race 6 Tip #4 Nicci’s Gold  -$8.50

This mare put in a flashing run first-up at this track. The stats line up well for this race, winning two from three over the trip and three from four second-up. Very keen to be on her here.

Rosehill Race 7 Tip #4 Bon Amis -$5.50

Has always shown his best early in preparations. Won well here four weeks ago and although it looks a little harder here, expecting to see a repeat of that dose.

Pakenham Race 2 Tip #4 Casino Fourteen -$3.00

Looks like a very nice prospect. He charged home to win at his recent outing and third-up here with such a consistent record he looks like the one to beat.

Pakenham Race 6 Tip #1 Torgersen -$4.80

Is going great guns. He just missed last start behind the in-form Manuel and he looks set to be flying home over the final stages in this race.

Free racing tips from expert Ben Beare

Rosehill Race 2 Tip #3 Beidi -$17

This Gelding from the Chris Waller yard impressed in a recent trial when he wore blinkers for the first time. Goes to the races with blinkers for the first time in this race.

The step-up to the 1400m looks suitable and in the small field he will be no further than 4 lengths back. No surprise to see him salute at big odds.

Free racing tip from expert Michael Gannon

Rosehill Race 8 Tip #5 Reflectivity -$4.00

This son of All Too Hard look sets to get an easy time of it in front and with the 3kg claim for apprentice Brock Ryan, the Team Hawkes trained galloper will take a ton of catching.

Drawn perfectly in barrier three, Ryan will ping the lids and cross straight to the rails. From there he's unlikely to get too much pressure up front which will allow him to dictate terms.

Look for Ryan to put a gap on his rivals on turning for home and prove far too strong.
