Which punters & racing media experts topped the list in November?
Punters experienced one of the toughest Spring Carnivals for some time in 2017. With a string of long shots taking a significant slice of the Group 1 trophies, it required a very special effort to finish-up in the black.
Regardless of how tough it gets however, there are always the elite few who standout from the pack. November saw some of the most profitable punters, and racing from analysts from Australia's media, finish at the top of the pack. Remember at least 15 bets or tips must be placed in the month to qualify for these awards.
Profit On Turnover (POT)
Two time winner of Punter of the Year, and multiple winner of Punter of the Month, Formulator, made the highest profit as a percentage of his turnover in November. The life-time profit maker made 132% profit from his 22 bets, with the average odds of his winners paying $17.

Veteran Fairfax racing analyst Chris Roots wasn't far behind. The Sydney based journalist and commentator found 7 winners from 22 best bets giving his followers a tidy 109% POT at $6.57 average win odds.
Michael Charge from SKY Racing was second runner-up with 10 winners for 102% POT.
Three punters topped the list using absolute profit made over the November period.
