The Flemington Cup Carnival comes to an end this Saturday, with punters still keen to sniff out the mispriced runners in early markets.

On top of the pro punter activity detected in Melbourne, we have identified a number of key betting leads at Rosehill where fitness and wet track experience appear key.

The below moves in early markets exhibit traits of more than just standard punter investment. If there are any further pushes closer to jump, bet with confidence.

Kissinger

Is from the shifty Lindsay Smith yard, who know how to place them to perfection.

He was excellent in much weaker grade (Benchmark 64) at Warrnambool last start, when winning by 4 lengths.

Although this is a sharp rise in class, the strong early money indicates he is right up to this level and can win.

Bold Star

Looks the class runner in this event after taking on Group 2 and Group 1 fields at his past few starts.

He has been very strong through the line over the sprint trips in recent outings and the step up to 1400m appears ideal in this regard.

Should find the perfect trailing position form gate 4 and be extricating from the moving line as he pleases. Yes.

Right You Are

Looked a potential superstar last preparation when winning 3 of 4, including an unlucky second here over 2000m.

The stable are very shrewd and would have him fully wound up to perform on the final day of the Flemington carnival.

Damien Oliver taking the ride also adds plenty of confidence.

Chaillot

Ran a huge race in Group One grade last start, to finish 4 of 13 behind the smart Shout The Bar and Odeum in the Empire Rose.

The last start form looks very strong for this, now that she drops back to what appears a weak Group Two event.

Expect her to be storming home late to collar them all. Yes.

He Runs Away

Returns from Waller’s QLD satellite stable, where he has won his past two in impressive style.

They must believe he is genuine Sydney class to travel him down and I suspect that he has well and truly earnt his ticket.

Stand-over tactician Nash Rawiller has been booked to ride, which shows good intent and he could simply brain them here. Yes.

Express Courier

Has been dominating the Canberra scene, with 3 wins at his past 4 starts at that venue.

He deserves his place here and although the opposition on this occasion is stronger, he still looks superior.

From gate 3 expect them to race midfield with cover, before presenting late to win.

Stockman

Is on the quick back-up from last week with residual fitness, which on a heavy track here could be a significant advantage.

Expect the step out to 1800m to suit, as he does have wins out beyond 2000m and is proven to handle the lung burn.

Third up (2-1-1-0) is very good and he should go very close.

Positive Peace

Enjoyed the Heavy ground last start at Randwick, where she fought hard to win the Group 3 Nivison.

The last start tough run on a Heavy surface should have her rock hard fit for this, with the step up to 1400m perfect.

Late in the day her wide gate (barrier 11) could also represent a significant advantage if the rail is off.
