This Sunday is the Jockey Club Day at Sha Tin, featuring three Group 2 events.
Golden Sixty is chasing his tenth consecutive win when he lines up in the Jockey Club Mile and Exultant is looking to defend his win in the Jockey Club Cup.
Whilst in the Jockey Club Sprint, the likes of Hot King Prawn and Computer Patch will line up against strong competition.
The 10 turf races will be held on the "B+2" course, which is typically used in big race meetings given it's considered the fairest track.
The weather is expected to be good with just a few showers across the day, which should have little effect on the track condition.
Apprentice jockeys Dylan Mo and Alfred Chan will be suspended from this meeting, while Matthew Poon is still not able to ride due to injury.
Sha Tin Race 8 Tip #9 Mighty Valor $3.70
Mighty Valor is up in Class for the first time on Sunday, but will be competitive because of his light weight.
Before his seasonal debut last time out, he went to Conghua for training before heading back to Hong Kong and scoring a 3-length win.
He returned to Conghua after that first-up victory and arrived in Hong Kong on Friday 23 pounds heavier, suggesting he's gained more strength.
Jumping from gate 11 this time is not a problem, because he has good gate speed.
Winning partner Vagner Borges will be on board again, and I expect him to make it back-to-back wins.
Sha Tin Race 9 Tip #5 Heza Beauty $3.90
Heza Beauty has been more consistent in his performances since becoming a four-year-old.
He is the course and distance expert, with one win and two seconds from three starts this season.
This son of Darci Brahma is becoming more mature and has a good turn of foot.
He is still racing in Class 3 and the 57kg won't be a big burden for him.
Neil Callan will be on board again and he will get the most out of the horse.
