AAPTagged: Happy Valley, Horse Racing Tips, ChareneWoo
There will be nine races run and won at Happy Valley on Wednesday night.
The “C” course will be used for the meeting and on this track, front-runners usually hold an advantage especially when they jump from inside gates.
The weather will be fine and the going is expected to be Good.
Dylan Mo is suspended for this meeting, while Matthew Poon and Chad Schofield will be absent due to injury.
The feature race for the night comes in Race 8 over 1650m, where we'll see two course & distance record holders, Solar Wai Wai and Green Luck, fight it out again.
Adding some spice to the race is Hong Kong debutant Panfield, who is a three-time Group 1 winner in Chile.
Happy Valley Race 1 Tip #7 Master Galaxy $5.00
Master Galaxy kicked off his campaign with an encouraging performance at Sha Tin where he finished second, before failing last start.
His rating has now dropped to 34, which has him very competitive in this Class 5 clash.
At each of his two starts this season, he's jumped cleanly and headed straight to the lead. That racing pattern will be a big advantage at Happy Valley tonight.
With Joao Moreira on board and jumping from gate 1, I expect him to break his maiden in style.
Happy Valley Race 2 Tip #6 Faithful Trinity $4.20
Faithful Trinity has been very consistent since joining Chris So’s yard this season.
He's scored two wins and a second in his four starts so far this prep, all over the same course and distance.
Last time out, Vagner Borges failed to put the horse in the best position and he was reprimanded by the stewards.
Vagner lost the chance to ride this horse again and Jerry Chau is now booked to take the reigns.
The 3kg allowance is significant, whilst gate 1 also gives this horse a big advantage as he eyes off his third win of the season.
