This filly looks to have come back in fine order and if she can match her last start effort, she'll be winning this.
Over the 1400m first-up at Warwick Farm, this girl by Pierro flew late to run within 0.8 lengths of the talented Cock Match. The gap to third was 3 lengths, which indicates how superior those two runners were.
There's no doubt she'll take as stack of improvement from that run and stripping fitter here second-up, she can sit on-speed and give a great sight.
With the in-form Rachel King booked to ride for the Newnham stable, punters should expect the smart money to come late for this girl.
Melbourne Cup Tip Flemington Race 7 #11 Finche $10.00
He ran a strong fourth in last year's Melbourne Cup and now has the benefit of a full preparation under the watchful eye of Chris Waller.
This looks a weaker edition of the Cup than last year and he appears to be going 2-3 lengths better than he was in 2018.
2018 winner, Cross Counter, has to carry an extra 6.5kg, whilst Marmelo (second) has been ruled out and Prince Of Arran (third) carries an extra 0.5kg.
Finche stays at 54kg and has drawn the perfect barrier.
Look for McEvoy to ride his own race up on-speed and give a huge sight in the run home.

He’s got a serious will to win and is by the champion Shocking.
He won the Adelaide Cup over 3200m, so he clearly gets the trip and bouncing off his recent big win in the Bart Cummings he looks ready to peak third-up.
Well worth an each-way play at the double figure odds.
