We reveal the betting plunges that represent smart money on Emirates Stakes Day

We delivered more love in our early betting moves on Derby Day last Saturday finding three winners including Merchant Navy ($19.70 best tote), Shoals ($4.80) and Rich Charm ($5.20). With a few solid placings thrown in for good measure the weekly betting mover specials report is quickly becoming one of the most valuable punting resources available.

This Saturday our team focussed on Emirates Stakes Day at Flemington with a handful of specials found amongst the early betting moves.

Betting Moves

Belzella

Quietley ridden at her latest jump-out under a tight hold. Looked to have plenty of petrol in the tank. Market moves encouraging for the debutant.

Lite'N In My Veins

Impressive finish first-up over 1200m off average tempo. Started bad and struck interference in the run.  Extra ground suits and has missed only once from four second-up starts. Contender

Qewy

Won the Bendigo Cup first-up back in Australia.

Further distance looks ideal and unplaced only once from six second-up starts. Had two wins in top class races last Spring and looks set to give this a big shake.

Payroll

Rise in distance is a query but a lot to like about her chances.

Her form rates at Group 1 level, usually peaks three runs in and both runs this campaign have toughened her. Carried 62kg first-up then jumped from barrier 14 to finish strongly for a close third.

Chased well over the mile last preparation and looked solid through the line. Worth consideration.

Gingernuts

Group one winner at this distance last spring. Has been racing strongly in New Zealand where he was a runner-up at this distance and won at the mile the run before, both at Group one level. Handles all track conditions. Genuine contender.

Andaz

Did enough amongst much harder company last start. Made ground at two recent starts over 1200m indicating he's up for the 1400m. Expect him to settle about midfield from the draw which has proven to be an ideal position this Flemington spring carnival.

Icon Of Dubai

Won his maiden by six lengths and before that was just beaten by quality colt Paret.  Forgiving the flop at his recent outing. Has ability.
