Betting movers made a motza last week. Can you afford to miss them again?
Punters following our Zipping Classic Day early betting moves were well and truly rewarded on Saturday with no less than four winners found on the Sandown card. Jungle Edge was first to salute at juicy odds of $10.80 best tote. Then came Dollar For Dollar $4.60, Crystal Dreamer $3 and Villermont $7.50.
Punters placing $100 win bets on each of our eleven early market movers finished with a tidy $1,490 profit ($2,590 return).
We've done the homework again for both Ballarat and Rosehill on Saturday. Here's the list and our analysis.
Ballarat Betting Movers
Had a couple of unlucky runs this campaign. Missed the start first-up at the Valley with 59kgs then never had a fair crack at them at his latest outing. Rates well carrying 54.5kg in this race with even luck. Top chance.
Put in two solid runs for as many career starts. Won his first in style gapping second by 2.8 lengths, then just missed when carrying 60kg and jumping from a wide barrier. In this.
Closed nicely after missing the start in her only trial and looked to have more in her tank. Well drawn for a nice run in transit if she can get an even start. One of the chances.
Responded well to blinkers at his recent outing, just missing the prize and thrashing the third horse. Gets his chance to break his maiden here.
The form from his debut run in Australia lines-up around the smart Interlocuter. Drops 4kg from that run. Go well.
Rosehill betting movers
Broke his maiden in style at his last start with blinkers on. Raced honestly in previous runs and looks a good proposition from barrier 6. Chance.
Had excuses at both starts this preparation. Raced wide facing the breeze first-up then burned up in front at his latest outing but still finished the race okay. Rates well against his opposition here. Good prospect.
Comes off four solid runs this campaign. Had excuses two starts back with a difficult gate for the course. Expect Shinn to find a better position in the running over the 1400m course. Honest mare who will be right in this.
Presents as a good outside chance in this race. His form lines stand-up okay in this company and drops 5.5kg from his last run.
Speed maps look favourable. Drawing barrier 6 with good early pace he should be able to get a prominent position in the running. He's a chance of being left alone with Just Dreaming (dual acceptor at Ballarat) the only expected company up front.
Racing well against good opposition in his last two outings. Expect him to settle towards the tail of the field. Will need some luck in the big field but can't discount.
Has his work cut out from the wide barrier but can respond to a positive ride from Hutchings. Looks to have a ton of ability. If he gets across without wasting too much petrol he will be very hard to hold out.
Hard to ignore her two recent dominant victories. Meets a smarter lot here but drops 2kg from her last run. Well drawn for a good run in transit and inform McEvoy rides. Go well.
