Sting Alert!

It was another day in the black for our market movers report last Saturday, after Attorney ($5.50) saluted at Rosehill and Russian Camelot ($1.95) proved too good in the feature Underwood Stakes at Caulfield.
This week, punters are in for another huge day at both key venues in Melbourne and Sydney with an abundance of Group 1 racing.
The early betting moves again give us an excellent lead as to where the smart money is flowing.
This week we highlight a classic Maher/Eustice “sting”, where the early money suggests the horse has been placed to perfection.
Flemington Tips
General Beau
Was well supported as favourite ($2.70) when winning on debut at Flemington over 900m.
He clearly handles the straight and did look strong enough through the line last time out, to suggest the 1000m will suit.
Should race close to speed and be giving a good kick over the final 100m.
September Run
Waller is the master of placing fillies and mares for stakes level success and is at it again here.
She was excellent winning last start after running home strongly from a midfield position to collar them all.
The sectional times last time out were the best of the entire day, and she appears to have a stranglehold on this race.
Fasciano
Love the booking of Ben Melham here, who is often the go to money rider for most stables.
This looks like a classic Maher/Eustice set up, where she was ridden cold last start and given no hope from back in the field.
Expect them to do the exact opposite here, with good intent shown to put the horse into the race early. Sting Alert!
Thermosphere
Godolphin have been a touch quiet early this Spring and will be keen to strike some blows on Saturday.
This filly clearly brings the best form coming out of the Tea Rose (5 of 11) at Randwick, behind the very smart Dame Giselle and Hungry Heart.
This could be the horse to get the high-profile yard rolling
Randwick Tips
Discharged
Is a tough on-pacer and I doubt any of the other riders will have the confidence to take him on for the lead.
He maps beautifully and should jump straight on the bunny and prove very hard to run down.
If the track is playing leaderish, good luck getting past him! Yes.
Kalashnikov
Trialled like a bomb and appears to be the pick of the early season two-year-old’s.
Although drawn out in gate 11, the stable are adamant he has the tactical speed to race forward if they choose or take a sit back in the field.
He is raced by a high-profile syndicate who expect results and are looking to get this colt to stud. Expect Team Snowden to have him cherry ripe.
Star Of The Seas
Has an electric turn of foot and has been unlucky not to have secured a Group 1 race this prep, having finished second in both the Winx Stakes and George Main Stakes.
If the pressure goes on up front, expect him to be the one storming home over the top late.
The vigorous riding of gun hoop Nash Rawiller to get him home first on this occasion.
Mugatoo
Could be anything following a jaw dropping win in the Newcastle Cup, where they went slow and he somehow still ran straight past them from well back.
This is a step up in grade, however he still looks untapped and could have even more improvement.
Expect him to stamp himself as a staying superstar here and mow them all down late.
