24/10/20 Horse racing tips from early market movers
Cox Plate Crunches
AAPTagged: Horse Racing Tips, James Beeson, Moonee Valley, Randwick
Both key venues present excellent betting opportunities this week, with all the key moves in early betting detected by our proven model identified below.
A Cox Plate runner has been crunched in early markets and could start shorter if the rain does arrive at Moonee Valley.
Whilst at Randwick, an exciting two-year-old from the in-form Snowden yard appears ready to make her winning debut.
The below moves in early markets exhibit traits of more than just standard punter investment, and any further pushes closer to jump would add extreme confidence.
Moonee Valley Tips
I Am Eloquent
Dropped back from stakes grade last start at Cranbourne, where she experienced a brutal run three wide with no cover and yet still battled away well to finish midfield (6 of 12).
She now steps up to the more suitable distance of 1600m, and has the services of Glen Boss.
The last start run is a complete forgive and she could easily bounce back to winning form here.
Young Werther
Is this year’s boom Victoria Derby horse, who was desperately unlucky last time out when he clearly should have won the Super Impose at Flemington.
He looks well suited here in a race which has enough speed engaged to allow him to run home hard from the tail.
Provided there is no bad luck, expect him to simply win.
Dr Drill
Jumped favourite ($3.50) in the listed Cranbourne Cup last start, before racing close to speed and only just weakening late.
He should hunt up from the inside draw to be very prominent early and appears suited if the pattern of the day is on-speed.
The jockey booking of Kerrin McEvoy is a massive upgrade and can make for significant improvement here.
Probabeel
Was simply outstanding last start at Randwick when winning the Group 1 Epsom Handicap.
She travelled wide in that run, yet still had the quality to cruise to the line and win with ease.
The draw in gate 2 is perfect and she can suck up in behind the leaders for the entire trip.
Looks a big threat in the big one.
Randwick Tips
Murra Murra
Is from the white-hot Snowden camp, who are having an excellent Spring and know exactly when to present their early two-year-old’s.
She won her only trial with ease and looks a very precocious type, who should relish the Randwick 1000m.
Tim Clark is the go-to “money rider” for many of the calculated stables, and his booking adds confidence here. Yes.
Girl Tuesday
Has promised plenty this campaign and finally gets to a suitable race which appears to lack depth.
She comes out of the Group 1 Metropolitan last start and will certainly appreciate the class respite back to Listed grade here.
Expect from the inside draw she can suck up along the inside before presenting late with plenty to offer.
Hilo
Was a huge street corner tip last start, before finishing 3 of 9 after getting too far back in the run.
The rider can be more positive from gate 1 on this occasion and she could settle much closer in the run and if not, lead them up.
With more intent shown here, she will be in the ideal striking position and can bounce back to winning form.
Icebath
Has an electrifying turn of foot and did storm late last start to be only 2.1 lengths off the smart ones in the Silver Eagle.
This is a significant drop in grade, where there is no Alligator Blood or Dawn Passage!
She will relish the class respite and should simply be far too good against these. Yes.
