Thursday is National Day in Hong Kong and we will celebrate with a strong 10-race card at Sha Tin hosting a strong 10-race card.

All the races will be on the “B” Course, which is typically a fair track.

The weather has been good in Hong Kong and tonight will be no exception.

The feature race of the day is the Group 3 National Day Cup scamper over 1000m.

It is well supported by the Beijing Handicap over 1400m, where there is plenty of talent on display including Mighty Giant who is shooting for four straight victories.

Sha Tin Race 4 Tip # 3 Easy Fit $4.40

Easy Fit will debut in Hong Kong tonight and is coming off a good preparation.

Just like his full brother and three time winner in Hong Kong, Striking Mr C, the four-year-old demonstrated good gate speed at trials.

He's been galloping well at morning track-work, which indicated that he has adapted to his new environment well.

This John Size trained horse is 1,202 pounds (545kgs), which suggests he is now a mature galloper.

Joao Moreira will ride and I expect him to go close to winning on debut.

Sha Tin Race 6 Tip # 8 Moneymore $3.50

Moneymore saluted in style on the season opening day over the Sha Tin 1200m, with Keith Yeung giving the gelding a peach of a ride.

Although the winning margin was only 0.5 lengths, it was a comfortable victory for him and he displayed a good turn of foot late.

He's been progressing well in training and the break between runs suits.

He stays at the 1200m for this clash and retains the services of Keith Yeung.

He's now rated 30, so he remains in the same grade and can make it back-to-back wins here.
