Racing form guru on top for Spring

 AAP

The results are in from the betting performances of punters and Australia’s racing media in September 2017. On the eve of the biggest racing season in the world, the Australian spring racing carnival, we can now reveal the highest profit makers over the thirty days during the first month of the season.

Some of Australia’s biggest names in the industry are amongst the highest profit makers in September. In addition to their outstanding career records they have provided their followers with a flurry of winners at the right time of the year.

Highest Cash Profit

If you punt in Australia you must know the name Deane Lester. Appropriately labelled ‘the guru’, he boasts one of the highest long term profit averages in Australia. Using the selections that he posts at theGreatTipOff.com, which exclusively represents his actual staking plan, Deane has notched up a massive $5,300 profit over the 30 day period from $100 win bets.

TheGreatTIpOff.com is the only source of Deane’s actual staking plan. Obliged to provide selections in each race he covers, Deane Lester exclusively provides his staking plan, the actual bets he places, with us at theGreatTipOff.com.

North Queensland punter Kendo7 was close behind Deane making $4,410 from $100 bets placed on his selections. Kendo7 tipped no less than 50 winners at an average price of $5.

Second runner-up was the Telegraph’s highly respected racing journalist Ray Thomas making his followers a cool $2,780 from his best bets in the 30 day period. Thomas’ duties at the age old newspaper require him to assess up to three meetings a day, a lot more than most racing analysts in Australia. In September that equated to 260 best bets, almost 9 best bet tips per day. In light of that challenge Thomas’ performance marks an outstanding result.

Profit On Turnover

This measure considers the average profit made. Scomars, a punter from just south of Bulli, topped the list in September. The New South Welshman placed 21 bets and found 6 winners averaging $7.43 to finish the month with an outstanding 112% profit on turnover (POT).

Deane Lester was next best in this category with 79% profit, leaving him just short of topping both profit categories in the month. In third place was Best Bets racing form analyst Kevin Casey who picked seven winners from 26 best bets averaging over $6 for each winner.
