The Good Oil for Saturday Racing
AAPTagged: Randwick, ADRIANSCIG, DeanWatling, Saturday Racing Tips
Racing returns to Randwick course proper on Saturday, with competitive nine race card for punters to dissect.
The feature event of the day comes in race 7, the Listed January Cup for the stayers over 2000m.
The track is currently rated a Soft 7 and the rail is out 6m the entire.
At this set-up, expect on-pace to hold a slight advantage, but it'll pay to watch the early action carefully.

Randwick Race 3 Tip #4 Zing $3.00
The Chris Waller trained mare ran well last start after being well supported in the market, but was just found out late over the mile.Unfortunately, the rise in distance from 1300m to 1600m within two weeks proved too much.
She stays at the mile for this clash and will be rock hard fit third-up, where she's one from one.
She appreciates the cut out of the ground and is ideally suited by the predicted track conditions.
Her win third-up last prep came on a Heavy 9, when she defeated key rival in this race, Foxborough, by 3.9 lengths.
She maps well from barrier 6 to get a nice run behind a moderate tempo in the one-one position.
The mare ticks all the boxes and looks ideally placed to win!

Randwick Race 8 Tip Race #6 Sacramento $5.10
Sacramento from the Waterhouse/Bott stable looks perfectly set up to return into the winner's circle in this clash, following a solid return first-up from a spell.
There is a genuine case that he should have won first-up over the 1800m, after he was caught four wide facing the breeze, before going down 0.7-lengths in what was a very gallant effort.
He carted 59kg that day on a wet track, which is the exact same set up he gets here.
Last preparation he ran fifth in the Group 1 Australian Derby behind Quick Thinker, before winning the Listed VRC St Ledger over 2800m.
He arrives here second-up from a spell, where he's won before.
The soft track (3:1:0:1) is no issue for him and he gains the services of in-form Sydney hoop Sam Clipperton, who has started the new year with a bang.
In a race that lacks genuine pressure, he will roll forward with the blinkers on and prove awfully hard to get past.
