Best plays for Friday Racing in Tassie

Launceston plays host to a bumper 10 race card on Friday afternoon, headlined by two Listed races - the Tasmanian Guineas and Tasmanian Stakes.
The track is rated a Soft 5 but with fine weather forecast throughout the afternoon, an upgrade is likely.
The rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.
Expect the track to play fair at this set-up, but punters should watch the first few races to look for any bias.
Best bets from Jacob Beavis
Launceston Race 1 Tip #4 Miss Charlie Brown $3.10
I’m backing the Adam Trinder trained two-year-old filly to begin the day on a winning note for punters.
She circled the field and finished off strongly for an impressive 1.25 length win on debut, beating three horses that will also line up here.
I have no doubt she’ll only improve, and the stable is excited about her prospects this preparation and beyond.
From barrier 7, jockey Bulent Muhcu can settle her close to midfield before giving her every possible chance to finish off strongly and remain unbeaten.
Launceston Race 6 Tip #4 Street Tough $2.80
The Scott Brunton trained six-year-old gelding has had two starts this preparation for two placings, and I’m backing him to go one better here.
He finished third in the Newmarket Handicap after missing the start and then wasn’t disgraced at this track last start, when finishing second in a BM74 with the top weight of 61kg.
He now drops down to 55kg and has a consistent record at this track (7:2-1-3).
He goes up in grade, but his run in the Newmarket suggests that he is up to this class.
From barrier 2, I’m predicting David Pires will settle him midfield before telling him to go down the straight.
