Menangle Race 1 #10 Arden Messi $3.70
Arden Messi (10) is in superb form and I am siding with him here.
A series of brave Tuesday performances was followed by an impressive second behind a superstar in Expensive Ego last time out.
There are no horses of that calibre in this race.
The longer distance of this event should also suit the Pizzuto-trained runner ,who appears to be a very tough type.
Menangle Race 3 #1 Jay Ok $2.80
The returning Jay Ok (1) rates on top in this strong field.
Paul Fitzpatrick’s horse could hardly have been more impressive in his five starts this time in, recording four wins and a second.
Tonight’s race is his first in six weeks, but a solid recent trial indicates he is ready to go.
While the inside gate may present some challenges, I am banking on Jay’s ability to get him home.
